Back in June 2021 we were asked by the west riding county fa to come along and see our amazing work in creating a great platform for girls to come along and play football.
They were keen to speak to the club and players on the day and wanted to show case to other clubs across the district.
In 2022 our very Lead coach was nominated and won the West riding County FA Coach of the Year for 2022.
Eldwick Lionesses ladies
Our Ladies team was set up in the summer of 2023 as a social training group and was so successful that the club created a team to take part in the West Riding County FA Womens Beginners League in the Harrogate & Craven section.
With the future aim to set up a second team to join a competitive Pyramid competition like the West Riding Womens League so that there was a clear pathway for all girls to play from the ages of 5 all the to open age football.
